21st Century SkillsAs a result of the technological boom, the world is not so defined by distance. One of the main ideas is that students of the 21st century will need a particular set of inter- and intra-cultural skills to thrive in a world so connected. Within the context of core knowledge instruction, this means that students must also learn the essential skills for success in today’s world, such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration that withstand our regional (uffda) differences and can be transferred to a world stage.
